ELOPURA MARATHON SANDAKAN

Welcome to the 4th Elopura Marathon Sandakan - on 22 Nov 2026!

Launched for the first time on 19th Nov 2023, Elopura Marathon is Sandakan's very own marathon, featuring full, half and 10km categories!

Elopura, meaning "beautiful city" is the old name for Sandakan and a name befitting this town on the east coast of Sabah. With an exciting route through Sandakan town and its surroundings, this race will be memorable for all runners.

If this is your first time to Sandakan do take a few days off to discover it's beauty - the islands, forests, animals, nature and some delicious seafood!
